The purpose of Magnolia State Home Educators Association (MSHEA) is to provide support to Christian based homeschoolers in Jackson County and the surrounding areas. Support includes but is not limited to:
a) Planning social and educational activities and field trips for students
b) Promoting better communication through newsletters, special mailings, phone messages, yahoo groups and the Magnolia State website.
c) Planning family activities
d) Providing information on the legal status and climate of education in the State of Mississippi
e) Providing support and information to new and existing home educators
f) Providing support to parents to help raise Godly children
